'ISail Whitsundays was founded by brothers Luke and Tristram Mairs in 2007 with one simple goal: To provide the best sailing trip of the whitsunday islands. Since then their business has grown to 3 boats and has been built upon a genuine passion for sailing and a love of all things aquatic. They pride themselves on personalised service aboard quality boats. Each tour sails, visits Whitehaven Beach including Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkels at least in 2 locations.Sailing with a small group offers many advantages. Boats taking less than 13 guests are allowed full access to the marine park, meaning ISail's boats can visit the best whitsunday locations whilst avoiding the crowds. There are 3 boats within the company: Iceberg, Blizzard and On Ice. ISail Whitsundays offers day and overnight tours. All tours depart and return via Abell Point Marina in Airlie Beach Queensland Australia.

I'm not sure I have enough room to write all the amazing things about ISail.. I'll start with the details: I did a 2 day 2 night trip on the "On Ice" boat. Our skipper was the lovely Cat along with the beautiful Julia. I'm a solo female traveller in my early 20's. Our first evening was spent having some... More

We (with husband and grown up daughter travelling in Oz) spent a fab 2 night tour made really special by the great other people we met on the boat - bit like sharing a ski chalet - you take what you get! We were lucky enough to have the owner of one of the tour companies with us and he... More

My family our four, including two teens, went on the catamaran On Ice and had the most incredible time! It was by far the highlight of a three week trip to New Zealand and Australia, and we did a ton. The captain, Cat, and her deckhand, Julia, were so nice and did excellent work. The food and facilities were quite... More

Super! Yes, it is relatively expensive, but it is worth the money. The boat OnIce is big enough to host 10 people (in our case, max is 11 as far as I remember). The schedule was a good mixture of sightseeing (white heaven beach), snorkeling and a bit of sailing. Food on board was very good and maybe because of... More

Great way to see highlights of whitsundays in two days. Nice sailing boat, well trained staff. Cpt John was a bit strange in his communication, but deckhand Mitch was the best! Nice sailing, spending time at white haven beach and snorkeling on day two. Amazing trip! Good food on board!

We were so lucky to have been able to charter The Blizzard for a private trip with 4 of our closest friends (6 people total). It certainly was not 'cheap', but we feel we got excellent value for money and would highly recommend this company and boat. Scotty our captain and first deck hand were EXCELLENT. Scotty was clearly extremely... More

Recently spent 2 days and 2 nights 'On Ice' in the Whitsundays. The crew, Paul (skipper) and Freya were excellent. We choose On Ice due the to small size of the group that would make up the tour and we were incredibly fortunate to have just 3 couples so six people on our tour. Paul made sure our experience was... My boyfriend and I spent two days and 1 night aboard "Iceberg" sailing around the beautiful Whitsunday islands. The trip was fantastic and one of the very best things we have done in Australia so far. The crew, Craig and Shaun were both brilliant during the entire trip. They were friendly, informative and made the trip so much fun. They... More

My husband and I have just completed a 2 night 2 day sailing trip on Blizzard. We found the boat to be in excellent condition and very comfortable. The Captain, Scotty was keen to set sail at every opportunity and use of the motor was minimal, which is what we were looking forward to. Freya, the crew, did very well... More
