We stayed at The Palms at Palm Cove some 3-4 minutes from the beach. Unlike the Gold Coast where the water is clear, the water at Palm Cove is a little murky. Nevertheless it is a great beach fringed with palm trees for shade. The...More

Beautifully warm water for winter. The beach setting was amazing and the water was so inviting! A lovely clean and bright beach too.

Had a swim between the flags. The sand was soft under our feet. Although the street was busy the beach was a great place to relax. Most days were windy, typical for winter although the days were warm in the sun.

Came here in the middle of winter. Perfect weather and average 26-27 degrees during the day. Water was very flat the whole time - not great for surfing etc, but excellent for kayaking and paddle boarding. Can hire kayak at a number of locations. Highly...More

Palm Cove Beach is a nice weekend getaway for couples. It is located approximately 30min north of Cairns airport. You can get there by shuttle, limo or taxi. I always catch a taxi as shuttle and limo fares are mostly more expensive. I recently paid...More
