Gorgeous & quiet beach away from a lot of touristy places. Great food, hospitable local folk, and reasonably priced accommodations.

Sheltered from easterly winds and generally quiet with few people. Mostly locals or longer term rentals show up here. Watch for the local fish fry and beer - YUM.

Absolutely and entirely beautiful!!! I certainly left my heart on this beach! People around were so nice and friendly, food restaurants and delicious and affordable, it is a shame that almost the entire zone is privatized now😢 We are absolutely coming back!

It;s just what you want a dream vacation to be. Stunning blue water. Clean sand. Perfect waves. There are beach bars and restaurants to enjoy a nice mojito in case of the afternoon tropical rainstorm.

Visited the most wonderful beach in the world with clear turquoise water and white sand beaches under palm trees. Rented an appartment on the beach with a fantastic view over the ocean. There were also very good restaurants with french cusin and nice diving possibilities....More

I actually spend most of the time around punta bonita but more importantly playa bonita. This locations are like a post card everyday of my stay. One day, I hope to buy a little cottage in this region.

Hello: I would say you could have a decent meal from RD$500 to RD$800 per person = US$10 to $15 in any of the restaurants around. Regards, Carlos
