If your staying in the main area of Las Terrenas close to Playa punta Popy then Playa Bonita is about a 20 minute taxi ride away. Playa Bonita just like the name the area is very beatiful. The beach is very nice and clean, water is clear and palm trees all around. The entrance to the ocean in some areas... More

Gorgeous Beach!! Beautiful beach artificers, seashells, driftwood to die for, fine sand beach. Perfect for swimming one of my favorites and my clients loved it too. Can't say enough about it! Great, Fantastic

No shortage of beautiful beaches in the Las Terrenas area, but all have their specialty. This one has a quiet curve of calm water and beach which seems away from it all! Spend a great afternoon here with friends and would definitely return.

This must be one of the most beautiful beaches ever. Absolutely stunning. Transport is needed so if you aren't staying in the area you would have to get a taxi. Lovely beach bar, little expensive but worth the price to sit and look out over the ocean at sunset.

Very good beach, only few people, waves are pretty cool, everywhere is sand, 200 meters in the sea deep of watter is low :)

Probably the quietest stretch of beach populated by hotels, restaurants and private homes in Samana, sections of this gorgeous beach starting to be taken over by beach chairs serving the private residential developments. Do not let them! Go to the right of the main road to enjoy the lazy river entering the ocean, an additional small beach ideal for kids... More

We liked Playa Bonita with its relaxed vibe, surf hire shop and walkway with hotels and restaurants and wish we'd discovered it earlier during our stay in Las Terrenas area.

One of the places you can't miss in Las Terrenas. Calm and relaxing, bright and cheerful, the sun slowly fades away. I could smell the salt coming from the beautiful sea. The sun was is bright as the moon shining on a dark night. Golden sand between my toes and clear water to enjoy.

One of my favourite beaches in the world, since I was a teenager (currently in my 30s.) Due to development in the area, this beach has changed quite a bit since I first started to visit. However, it still maintains its charm as a quiet, relaxing, hidden treasure. Not much people go, unless it is during a dominican long weekend,... More
