We drove for a while (from Playa de los Pescadores) to get to Playa Bonita. Arrived there right before the sunset. The area (from the parking lot to the walking area) was pretty empty. Just us walking but once we made it to the beach,...More

This is a beautiful beach that brings you back in time to imagine how 500 years ago Columbus found this jewel. Clear water, fine sand, beautiful sunsets, smooth waves that caress your body gently. Paradise found? Yes!

Nice beach with walkway area with palms. Restaurants and houses along the beach with a few hotels. Beautiful beach to sit and enjoy a few hours of relaxation.

It is a nice beach, not very crowded. Bring bottles of water and or beer, there are not restaurants around or places where you can buy things. It is a good place to enjoy nature

A unique place, go to Mahalo Bar and enjoy the view. On the right looking at the ocean there is a very calm area perfect for photos.

Have not visited Bonita since the hurricanes but in general all of the LT beaches are almost back to previous status. Some of the access roads and parking areas are still a challenge. Was at Playa Punta Popi this weekend and... More

Hello: I would say you could have a decent meal from RD$500 to RD$800 per person = US$10 to $15 in any of the restaurants around. Regards, Carlos

nope, typically good for surfing but too many waves keep water agitated. a section of the beach (near the point) has no waves, but also nothing underwater worth looking at. I suspect getting closer to the 2 little islands... More
