A unique place, go to Mahalo Bar and enjoy the view. On the right looking at the ocean there is a very calm area perfect for photos.

take your time to walk ALL AROUND, even around the far corner of the beach. Bring a few bottles of water and beers. There are no restaurants way up the beach, but the view and swim is amazing. The restaurants are OK, and way too...More

We loved this beach. What is great is to walk along it toward Cosen Beach and you'll come across some of the calmest water, then later a little blue shack serving what looked like great pasta dishes. Worth the 2 hour hike.

Bonita isn't enough. Best beach I ever been to. Clean, quiet, good for families. Good to enjoy nature

Playa Bonita benefits from having a really nice location and a long bay stretching for 2-3 miles. There is a pleasant footpath along the front with benches and shade, with a few small bars and restaurants for snacks and drinks. So it has been developed...More

Love it here. Would come back again, felt safe, clean and the beach was beautiful! There are people here who can get you fresh cocunuts, and beach side restaurants to have lunch and dinner. People are nice and polite!

Playa Bonita is my favorite beach in all of Las Terrenas. The cove to the end is a perfect, relaxing spot, but if you walk the other way to the point and beyond it is absolutely breathtaking!

We came here on vacation in Las Terrenas because everyone claimed it was the best beach in Samana. It was pretty but had waves - compared to most other places in Samana with no waves & the beach area was very small in the area...More

Hello: I would say you could have a decent meal from RD$500 to RD$800 per person = US$10 to $15 in any of the restaurants around. Regards, Carlos

nope, typically good for surfing but too many waves keep water agitated. a section of the beach (near the point) has no waves, but also nothing underwater worth looking at. I suspect getting closer to the 2 little islands... More

Hi Ian, we were three adults and if I remember rightly we paid about 2000pesos in total for a main meal and drink. A little pricey but as its the only restaurant there you don't have much choice. However the portions were... More
