This is the perfect beach to visit if you want to have it all to yourself (well, yourself, and a couple of school-aged boys trying to sell you homemade pina coladas and fish). Be prepared drive on a road filled with potholes and park your car outside of a gated community (but it's definitely worth the trip). Next, you will... More

Been to a more amazing beach. There is nothing at this beach so bring what you need. It is off the beaten path. So glad we found it.

One of the nicest beach, now "protected" by a gate and a well paved road. It is uncommon to find more than a couple of people on the very long and splendid beach, often with large waves but generally safe for swim. A series of buildings on the cliff (that used to contain a natural swimming pool) seems to have... More

If you are determined to find it and don't mind rough roads you will have one of the best days of your life. A car or motorcycle will make it here, take you time and watch for soft spots in the road. Looks like you get about a kilometre or do to yourself so crowding is not an issue. No... More

A short drive past El Limon, this secluded beach is really a haven for privacy, great surf and swimming, and a lovely day with friends, family, or a romantic getaway.

Stunning, clean and safe. The beach only a few people enjoying the day, it was almost as though we had the beach to ourselves!

One of our favorite beaches in the Las Terranas area. Beautiful quiet beach, lovely white sand, clear water, great for swimming, snorkelling and walking

A beach to die for , hidden away from the masses, we were often the only people on the beach ! Take a picnic and drinks , no restuarant or cafe , but what the heck a fantastic beach , one of the best .

I went in Feb. 2015 with my husband. We rented a 4x4 and after having lunch at Yuca Caliente, we headed over to this secluded beach. It was amazing!! It's almost like a private beach, since I think it was supposed to be for a touristic development that never happened, but I loved how it was not populated. The tides... More
