We visited on the day England played Sweden in the World Cup quarter-finals. We were the only visitors at that time so we had a personal guided tour. We visit many National Trust and English Heritage estates and I sometimes find the large houses overly...More

White Mill is on the old Kingston Lacy estate and is a well preserved mill on the Stour. Most of the machinery is intact and the mill guide was very informative. The adjacent bridge is over 800 years old and well worth seeing.

Wow! This is an amazing little gem of a place! A substantial amount of pre-industrial revolution machinery still remains in situ, and the guides are incredibly knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.

Lovely old mill not surprisingly next to a river! Interesting tour inside and small grounds are pleasant adjacent to the river. Close to NT Kingston Lacy estate and Barford Farm icecream, for some nice home made icecream. You can walk along the river either side...More

Very interesting restored 18c mill with working wooden machinery and informative cheerful guides. Fascinating to discover the shared resource of a mill grinding for all the farms around. Have a picnic in the garden on the banks of the river Stour and let time slip...More
