Nice cakes and coffee very popular with cyclists, sitting in the lawned area on a sunny day with plenty of space to enable people to abide by the social spacing rules.

I was looking for some Frenchic paint, which in the current climate seems impossible to find in stock and I contacted The Wood Boutique via Facebook. I asked for a certain paint and the lady was extremely helpful and explained she didn’t have the paint I required and asked what I needed it for.... when I explained what I was painting, she advised that I actually require the ‘Al Fresco’ range of the Frenchic paint and the colour I would need in that range and that she had that in stock. She then went on to ask my location to determine where is best for me to collect from, to make it easier for myself. When I went to collect, she came out of her store (social distancing involved) and spoke to me which gave me even more of a welcoming feel, again giving more advice on the usage (1st time user) and I’ve even placed a further order! I would definitely use The Wood Boutique again, they are helpful, friendly and an extremely brilliant find in a beautiful location!!

Found this place on the web, and decided to 'check-it out' on a day out. Beautiful setting, the Windmill itself looks fab, but we'd gone to snoop round the shops and have tea. I wasnt impressed with the tea room. Speciality teas were not specified, I ordered a chocolate milkshake (as per menu) to be told WE DONT DO CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE. The woman serving was quite rude. Glared at me when i dared to ask if there was fruit peel in her scones, and then looked shocked when i refused to use contactless payment. Place is popular, and seems to have lots of 'regulars', who are greeted with open arms and smiles. Wont be back though, Service put me right off. and i wont recommend it either.
