Thompson River Rafting Day Trip
REO Rafting Resort offers one of the best August and September paddle rafting trips in all of Canada. Enjoy huge roller coaster waves, desert canyon scenery and a hot sunny climate. Unlike most rivers in North America, the Thompson is too high to paddle raft until the river level drops. During the sizzling summer heat, water levels begin to fall and the waves actually become bigger and more defined! Join REO on the legendary Thompson River in our small paddle rafts which are more responsive and provide an exhilarating ride (8-9 paddlers/boat). We also offer oar rafts with paddle assist, ideal for families and those that would rather enjoy the scenery without paddling too hard.

Fraser River Scenic Rafting Trip
REO Rafting Resort offers a Fraser River rafting adventure for all ages with gentle rapids and great scenery. Features include several bouncy wave trains, spinning whirlpools and a hot canyon climate (30-35 C in the summer). You can cool off with a "cold shower" when your guide takes you underneath the pouring waterfall. Paddling is optional, if you want you can just sit back and enjoy the views of the Fraser Canyon's steep walls and surrounding forest. Wildlife you may see are eagles, osprey, black bear, marmots and river otters. As an added bonus you can enjoy floating in the warm Fraser River - just jump in and hold on to a rope tethered to the raft as it carries you down stream!

Review of: Nahatlatch River Rafting - 24 Amazing Rapids
We joined a rafting trip while staying at this resort and had an incredible time. One member of our party had been white water rafting before, one had done white water kayaking and I had done neither. We had thorough but friendly safety instructions then were taught the basics on the lake. Our party of three was joined with a family of four and it was an ideal size. Everyone got a chance to sit in different spots and got on fantastically. We were lucky enough to have the owner Bryan as our guide but the other groups also had excellent leaders - one was Bryan’s lovely daughter, another was his son-in-law (a fun and friendly kiwi) and the third was a hilarious girl from Alberta who chatted and laughed with guests on the bus all the way to the river. Everything was so well organised (including a break in the middle for snacks, a photographer who stood at various spots along the river to take pictures (available to buy at a very reasonable price - we got them) and a few other members of staff on hand to help coordinate. The rafting itself was so fun that my face was hurting from smiling so much before we were even half way through. The whole group was in hysterics for most of the run between the incredible waves and Bryan’s fun and friendly commentary. It was so special to be on the river with someone who has spent almost 30 years rafting it. I can not recommend this highly enough and we will definitely be coming back. …

Review of: Nahatlatch River Rafting - 24 Amazing Rapids
This is our go-to activity whenever we have friends / family visiting. Great rapids, lots of fun. A couple of persons in our group were a bit apprehensive before rafting and the safety talk did not exactly ease them - look, they take your safety very seriously and they want to ensure you know what to do. But once on the raft, the fun started - in a BIG, roller-coaster way! All anxieties were forgotten, the ride was just so much fun. There is a stop in the middle where they give you some snacks - nice touch. At the end, everyone in our group was talking about when to go back - either later this year or next. year The whole area is beautiful (the photos don't lie), many tents are by the river (very soothing), the food was very good (due to COVID, they serve you individually), and the two large fireplaces are great. They provided many activities at no cost, such as yoga, and a canyon hike tour - the latter of which was very informative.…
