I'm so glad I stopped by, you almost miss it on the #1 highway. It's on the left if going east/north, look for the Bear sign! An amazing view of tee-pee's, in an entire display of a village. Don't miss.
The grounds here are incredibly well maintained and gorgeous. Wildlife was present while we were there including deer and heron. This is an important place to visit and learn about first nations culture and history. Be respectful of the lands :)

We stopped here to break up a long drive to Williams Lake and it was perfect. Well-maintained, educational, excellent for young and old alike. We particularly appreciated the Pit House during the 36 plus temperatures.

It is a work in progress and very informative. There is a cute gift shop along with a walking tour of the grounds that has several totems, log house, other native displays. It is worth the stop. It is not a large area so it...More
