It's a fast, steep walk requiring an average level of fitness. We did it with a 4 & 6 year old and they had no problems but keep a hold of them at some of the places where there's a pretty steep drop off. It's...More

the walk to the top is for every level of fitness. There's no rush and so much to see on the way to the top. Once there I felt like Rocky in the movie & wanted to shout I've done it. Brilliant views.

We climbed early Sunday morning in April with our 14 year old son. It requires an average level of fitness. We did the round trip in under 1 hour. After a relatively easy start, the track deteriorates to uneven rocky steps that require your constant...More

Mt Coolum has been calling us for a while, and eventually we made time to visit. I suggest going early morning, as it gets fairly busy quickly.

A good level of fitness is required to climb Mt Coolum. Takes about 45 minutes to get up to the top. Great views of the surrounding Sunshine Coast area (west to Maroochydore and nort to Noosa). Great vantage point to take in the sunset.

The last time I walked up Mount Coolum it didnt have a purpose built stone stepping track and was quite difficult. Now it has a path with steps that are easy to navigate and the walk is comfortable with only a medium level of fitness...More

Mount Coolum has the most beautiful views rain or shine, morning or evening! I walk it regularly as it’s in my back yard and love the ever changing views daily. It can be a difficult walk for the not so fit person. But don’t be...More

No it's a national park. It's already crazy busy with only people. So NO DOGS. Check out the National Parks rules and guidelines.
