Of the many times I was in Alagoas, she had not known Paripueira on the north coast of the state. In Maceio there are dozens of agencies that do the tour, usually destined for the Hibiscus and Angra Ipioca. Paripueira has no large tents or...More

The marine life is scarce, close to ZERO. You see nothing but water and the visibility is no longer than 3 meters. Not to mention there is a guy pushing you all the way through a 5 min "dive" of a 1.5 meter maximum depth....More

We got the Catamaran Boat and went to the Natural Pools of Paripueira where we could dive through the reefs. The wonderful colored fishes swim through the people in a unexplainable experience.

Nice natural pools if you arrive early. Easy going beach. A lot of fresh fish for reasonable prices.

Nice enough beach, but there are much prettier along the coast. Definitely need to have a car to travel; up the coast as some of the beaches are great, especially Praiai de Tabuba. Unfortunately they have not got into cleaning the beaches much so there's...More

I liked the expansive sand at low tide and the local feel with the small fisherman boats. The natural pools at a boat ride from the shore are nice, but not spectacular. The water is not so transparent as at Maragogi, probably because there is...More
