Must go

Low level dificult but very nice way with a waterfall at the end. The guides explain you all about it and you can see how is the canyon looking from the inside view.

Only for adventurous people! I recommend to take a bug for each person: with a .5 L of water, they will give you another one and you can fill it in the Rio Boi! Take the lunch and the food you think you will need. The shoes are essential: trekking boots, and take another pair te leave it the car... More

Good hiking, where we saw some animals, especially some snakes :) We were with a guide of the pousada Pacatatu. I recommend. Too bad we couldn't go to the end of the canyon. It's not open yet...

Lots of rocks and water, quite difficult walking trail. Not your average daily trail and not for kids.

The trail of the rio do boi goes about half way up a canyon of the region, following a creek that has to be crossed more than 20 times. Overall the hiking trip lasts roughly 7 hours. It has to be done with a local guide that is accompanying a group of maximum 12 persons. As the trail is part... More

Many river crossings during the 12km trekking and the water was a little bit above the limit but the guides were really great and very responsable and we did not have any accidents on the trail. I loved it!!

If like to walk, if you love nature, and if you don't mind getting wet, you'll love it!!! The walking above rocks lasts 8 hours with a few stops to eat and get some rest. You have to be in a good shape and perfect health, there are lots of "ups and downs". Remind to bring hat, an extra pair... More

A fantastic trekking inside Aparados da Serra National Park. This small river runs along the bottom of Itaimbezinho Canyon, with its 800m high solid rock walls. It takes half a day, at least, to trek this route, crossing the river 4 or 5 times, as you appreciate the breathtaking views from inside the gorge of the canyon. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! One... More
