Very quiet when we visited this week - September so lots of places have closed for the season here. Great place to walk and have some quiet time.

This is a truly stunning destination. Loads to do in the summer. Autumn and winter are lovely too but a lot of the attractions will be closed.

There are specific swimming areas for members of the public and dogs can't go in there. Otherwise dogs are fine and welcome everywhere as far as I can see. Lovely walks around the lake for dogs.
