Uluru Field of Light Sunrise Tour

54 reviews
Acclaimed artist Bruce Munro was so inspired by Ayers Rock (Uluru) that he created the Field of Light, an illuminated installation that channels the spiritual energy Munro felt during a visit the Australia’s Red Desert. Observe the radiant display and watch a magical sunrise at Ayers Rock (Uluru) on this tour, which includes hotel pickup and drop-off. As you watch the sun rise majestically over the iconic Australian landmark, you’ll enjoy tea and coffee in the observation area and listen to commentary from your guide.

We so enjoyed our extended weekend breakout from Darwin and the great cycling experiences. There are so many great trails - from baby's bottom smooth pathways to scary mountain bike rock-hopping. And there's even a DIY circuit of delightful cafes in garden settings. Our highlight was the 50km return ride to Simpson's Gap. Stunning West Mac scenery. Thanks to Outback Cycles for the excellent bikes and friendly service. Recommended.

The cycle around Uluru is amazing. Up close and personal. The people at Out back cycling are very good. The bikes are in good condition and easy to ride. It is a must do!!!

It was 35 degrees by 7am. The flies were insane. We wanted to do the 10km walk... thank goodness we took the bikes instead!! It was so much fun and such an amazing way to see the beauty of Uluru. It would have been too exhausting trying to do that walk, and we would have missed so much. Uluru is incredible and truly looks different from every single angle. Downsides to the bikes are; you only get 3 hours of hire, and it’s $50 for an adult which is outrageous. I’ll still give it 5 stars however, as I still wouldn’t have had it any other way.
