While staying at the resort, camel riding was a must do in Uluru! To ride across the land, get an amazing view of Ayers Rock, and just soak it all in was amazing. Mick and Clint were excellent guides, made sure everyone was safe, and even took pictures and video for me!! Definitely an experience to be had, DO IT!

It was a very early morning wakeup but well worth it! The professionalism of the team at Uluru Camel Tours was outstanding. They guided us through all aspects of safety. The camels all had different personalities and the guides were very funny in how they talked about them. We had Buddy! Noisy norseman was hilarious! The sunrise over Uluru was... More

Great experience riding the camels @ Uluru. Worthwhile even just doing a 15 minute ride and learning about the camels in Australia.

We did the sunrise ride. Doubts? Just do it. The scenery is magical, you are safely under the control of a cameleer (the camels are tethered together, just like they would be if they were in a camel train), and you have an opportunity to experience the desert in a way that is impossible elsewhere in Uluru (no one is... We travelled to and from the camel experience via the Shuttle bus. Just tell the bus driver you'd like to be dropped off at the camels. Easy. We then arranged for the "short camel ride" which was $15 pp for a nominal 10 minutes. I think we were on for longer than 10 minutes. The guide who walked in front... More

This is a super fun trip with a group of really lovely camels and camel handlers. The camels all have such different personalities and it provides a unique way to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta at sunset. They provide rides at other times as well so it depends on your preference. The handlers are very knowledgeable and ready to answer... More

What a wonderful way to see the sunset on Uluru but by camel! Very cool experience, great lead rider and commentary by Shelley, with walk along and photographic assistance by her teammate (sorry, forgot his name). An adventure getting on and off the camels due to the way they rise from the ground, but all were extremely gentle for adults... More

This was one of our favourite parts of our trip to Central Australia. We had booked in advance a couple of weeks before our trip (strongly recommended) the sunset camel ride to the Field of Light star pass and although it was a little expensive it sure was worth every cent. We were collected from our accommodation by Clint and... More

Sunset tour on a camel in the Australian Outback? How often does one get to do that? The experience was the highlight of my trip and the crew was great. Unforgetable!

My friend and I went on the longer desert tour. It was great. The tour guides were very informative and fun. The camels were well cared for and well behaved. Amazing photo opportunities throughout the trip.
