Just did the sunrise Camel tour. A wonderful and unique experience. Of course the landscapes, scenery and aura were unique- that's a given. And everything was well organised and at all times fun. 2 unexpected bonuses- the camels: what wonderful, cool dudes, with quirky personalities and amazing patience. Also, the history of camels as relayed on the ride by our... More

We decided to take the camel option to the Field of Light dinner and it made what was an amazing evening even more so. The camels are clearly much loved and treated as family, each has its own quirks and idiosyncrasies. The ride was informative and also leisurely, the perfect start to our evening.

The tour was very well organised, after a quick briefing it was not long until we were up on the camels! We had a very knowledgable, interesting and fun guide called Greg who really made the tour for me (be sure to ask him of the history of camels!!). The actual ride was very comfortable (in case you were worried!)... More

This was my first time on a camel and after trying the short ride we decided to take a longer trip for the Sunset Trip past Uluru. It just seems right t ride a camel in the outback with the Uluru - Kata Tjuka formations in the background. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and the camels well behaved. Even... More

I can thoroughly recommend this tour, we did the express which was a good 45 minutes long. I went with my sister and my two children (9&11). They enjoyed it immensely. Our guide Amy was very entertaining and informative. Very warm and knowledgeable people. The camels were also very well behaved!

This was a real highlight. We chose the short trip (45 minutes). Get picked up from your digs and taken to the farm. Given instructions. Loaded aboard. Off you go. The female cameleer (Amy) was extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining. The day we went it was freezing. A hot cuppa at the end was a welcome site. You should definitely... More

I did the sunset tour with Uluru Camel Tours and it was a unique way to experience Uluru at sunset. This was my first time riding a camel (not many opportunities to do so in my neighborhood) and it was very safe, well-organized, and the guides were wonderful about answering all my questions. The snacks and drinks at the end... More

I had a fabulous experience on this tour, and indeed, it remains one of the great highlights of my trip to Australia. The staff was friendly, pleasant, safe, knowledgeable. I loved hearing all the stories about how camels were used to develop the Australian Outback. The views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta were of course incredible. I did the... More
