DO NOT listen to the staff at The Kings Canyon Hotel as they will tell you NOT to travel this badly corrugated rocky dangerous road. Luckily I ignored their advice and went as this was a major part of our trip and we were not disappointed. It was like a typical Kiwi gravel road
