What a fun experience floating along on your noodles in the middle of paradise. BRING a noodle and you will have a great time. Just beautiful although the girls were scared of crocodiles and no matter how much we told them there were none they insisted that there was lol

great walk in loop from car park to falls and across the river to come out the other side and back through to the car. Fantastic swimming, wonderful views. MUST DO. little shop at the falls has original reasonably priced indigenous art work signed by the artist

This is a swimming spot but not in the bottom pool in the wet season due to potential crocodiles. However the cafe there has indigenous works of art by local people for sale. The toilet blocks themselves are covered in wonderful, amazing art as well. The flies can be atrociously annoying but don't let that put you off visiting.

Its about 1 hour drive from Katherine (Between Katherine and Darwin). Nice spot for a quick picnic or for a day tour. You can do camping too. Entrance is free. 20-30 mins walk to the hill and you will be amazed by the view. Go early morning or in the after noon. Be aware there are flies all around the... More

Great during the Wet season when it's running properly. Don't bother with the hike up to the top lookout. It's really steep and unless you're uber fit, it may get the better of you.

If tou happen to be on the Stuart Highway then do find an extra hour in your day to visit. Here you can walk to the wonderful lake for refrehsing swim or take a longer walk to the upper lake and waterfall. There is ample parking and a lovely cafe. It's a great spot to visit and very peaceful.

The water was so warm here! Beautiful location and can swim right up to the waterfall. The fish aren't afraid to come up and nibble your feet either!

Edith falls is a short drive from Katherine and has very good access. The lower pool is an easy walk from the carpark and access is free. Lots of grassy areas for picnics. We didn't go to the upper pools as the temperature during our visit was getting too extreme and didn't want to risk heat exhaustion...but this time of... More

Great afternoons walk and swim. Can be squeezed into an evening to watch the sunset if you have a torch and are happy driving the 45 mins back to Katherine at night. For most abilities. Has a couple of rocky ups and downs that need some careful footing. Beautiful views of the surrounding area and of the falls and rock... More
