Decided to utilize weekend in Katherine to visit the falls. Good walk up to top pool even for us unfit people. Stunning view from the top and also bottom pool. Very popular and sometimes hard to find car parking. The spot seems very popular for camping by both caravan ears and back packers.

There is a short walk to a pool which you can have a swim in with the waterfall a fair distance away. The walk will take you over a bridge on which you can get a photo of the falls and then you could continue up to the Bembang lookout over the middle pool and then up to the upper pool... More

Always visit and always enjoy - walk up to top water hole worth the trek for swim and views. Bit of a drive out of Katherine but well worth the trip, or if traveling from North stop in prior to getting to Katherine.

What a wonderful place 👍🏼 the only problem we had was our kids as they were scared of crocodiles (when though we kept assuring them that there were none) !!!! Edith Falls is heaven on earth but we recommend to explore it the best get yourselves some noodles. Once you have them you are ready for the long haul to... More

A little disappointed we last visited 6 years ago and it was a lot shadier. Not sure if they had to remove trees or not but even the hut for refreshments looks out of place.

We visited Edith Falls on our way from Katherine to Batchelor/Litchfield National Park and decided to do the short, 2 km return trail (1-2 hours) to the Upper Pool. In a few places, the hike was a bit steep but we could stop anytime to catch a breath and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. The upper pool was... More

We thought we'd stop here on our way to Katherine & wow was it worth it! The hike up to the top pools isn't too strenuous but well worth it for the bigger than expected swimming pools at the top! Could easily spend a whole afternoon here as the rock walls provide lots of shade (including the pools) and you... More

We climbed up to the hot pool, which was quite strenuous on a hot day, but the swim in the rock pool and touch the falls made it all so worth it. When you get hot again on the way down, an ice cream at the kiosk helps wonders.

A must do when travelling near Katherine. The park is well set up with coffee shop and easy walking paths down to the falls. There are other walks you can do for the more adventurous, although be prepared for the heat and take plenty of water with you. The falls and the pool is so peaceful and there are a... More
