Went for an adventure during wet season. While the bottom pool was closed the top was open and so was Sweetwater Pools. The top pools were great, although still some strong currents because of all the wet season rain. The walk to Sweetwater Pool was a little challenging due to long grass and some very wet sections. Otherwise it was... More

Just called in on the way back to Darwin and what a jewel. Great grassed areas nice info centre and the view of the bottom pond so inviting to just jump in We didn't have the time to do the walk up and very disappointed we didn't have the time Worth a detour or stay in the camping ground

A truely wild natural and lovely place to spend an afternoon or a week, splashing around in the sultry water...doesnt get any better. Where I come from every natural wonder has been fenced off, hand railed up and made civilized for the tourists, instead of being left in its ruggedly beautiful natural state as you will find it here.

We were here in September 2016 and headed up to the (slightly quieter) Upper Pools. It's an uphill path with steps in places. There isn't a huge amount of shade on the way up and it was hot when we were there. There are then steps down to the pools - there are two which you can walk around, or... More

3 small children under 10 but the made it up to the falls on the walk OK. They loved being able to swim in the water in the NT without any Croc fears.

We really enjoyed our few days at Edith Falls Caravan Park on a nice shady site. Plenty of room for caravans & tents. We did the 2 hour trek up the top and it was well worth the effort. Beautiful swimming area for those that can't climb. Great coffee at the little kiosk.

Do the loop walk, it is a goat track, with little steps. Loads of Lizards roaming around, even saw a snake, be careful and stomp your feet. Make sure you take plenty of water. The view from the top is amazing, it a bit of a climb down to the waterfall, but well worth it, clear water, very refreshing. If... More

What a fun experience floating along on your noodles in the middle of paradise. BRING a noodle and you will have a great time. Just beautiful although the girls were scared of crocodiles and no matter how much we told them there were none they insisted that there was lol

great walk in loop from car park to falls and across the river to come out the other side and back through to the car. Fantastic swimming, wonderful views. MUST DO. little shop at the falls has original reasonably priced indigenous art work signed by the artist

This is a swimming spot but not in the bottom pool in the wet season due to potential crocodiles. However the cafe there has indigenous works of art by local people for sale. The toilet blocks themselves are covered in wonderful, amazing art as well. The flies can be atrociously annoying but don't let that put you off visiting.
