About
The Palmachim Beach National Park is a well-known recreation site for beach lovers, but it is also a nature site that preserves the natural beach, coastal limestone ridge and shifting sand dunes. Tel Yavneh-Yam is also located within the national park. The park includes a beach for swimming, indigenous coastal flora and fauna, a huge embankment from the Canaanite city, a sea turtle farm, a visitor service center, chair rental, beach umbrellas for sale, shaded areas on a declared beach, picnic tables, lifeguards during the bathing season and first-aid services. For details regarding bathing times, visit our website.

very beautifull beach, quiet and calm to spend a day.
you can have a nice walk as its kind of wild. you can bring a tent and also food, but not make a fire or a mangal.
there are not many people wich is perfect. there is no one renting of umbrellas or chairs, so bring yours.

Palmachim Beach is one of the most invested and developed in Israel and probably in the world. there is nothing you need that you cannot find at Palmachim. Clean white sands, Lounge chairs, tables, canopies and up to your seat FULL BAR and food service. You will also find clean bathrooms and changing rooms and a verity of eateries from fast food, fast casual and all the way to elegant dining. One more thing, plenty of parking that does get crowded on weekends and holidays .

Very nice natural reserve that has a long beach with nice sand.
The beach is under the supervision of the Natural Parks Authority and therefore it requires a fee by car (25 - 35 NIS) but it is constantly cleaned. There are outdoor showers, toilets, kiosk, possibility of overnight, separate area for playing.
At peak periods like Fridays in August can be crowded, but even then the beach is very long to accomodate large numbers of people.

I love this beach for many reasons! The parking is close to the beach, the sand is clean, the beach is quiet, and the landscape is beautiful.

This beach has a long shore. The declared beach is clean and nice to visit. The non-declared beach is very filthy.
The are many type of wildlife animals around.

The Pros: it is quiet, there are lifeguards on duty, parking is fairly close to the beach. Signs posted say that it's a quiet beach so no loud music allowed and no matkok ( paddle ball games). Music was not played while we were therebut matkot were ( much less than in tel aviv but more than zero). A few feet from the beach is a campgrounds and there is some archaeology for those interested.

The cons: not many services available and those that were, were not great. Chairs are available for hire from the nature reserve station, not comfy lounge chairs but just plkain plastic armchairs; at ten shekel each, and you have to do your own schlepping, that's quite expensive.the beach itself ( sand) was full of cigarette butts, food, and I don't want to know what else. Bathrooms were very run down and there are no changing rooms. The outside shower has no bench nearby so there is no place to hang your towel etc if you want to shower. Very little and expensive food available.

I'm not really sure why this beach was rated so highly in many Internet lists. We usually go to the tel Aviv beach which is more crowded but also more user- friendly

The coolest and the most beautiful beach in the center of Israel, good place to surf as well.
It is actually have different beaches right next to each other, the main one is "the regular" :cost money to get in,have lifeguard and kiosk, but there is also before and after the main beach beaches that is free and more unique and free and less crowded

One of the prettiest beaches in Israel.
The beach has amazing sand dunes and a lovely view!
At some spots the water is crystal blue. There are no wave breakers so its a great place for surfing.
It's a quiet and clean beach, though on the weekends it's very crowded.
You can come with the car and you just have to an entrance fee for the parking lot.
The perfect place to relax on the beach.
