The place is poorly maintained, the animals don't look at their best and the pirate ship has seen much better days. All in all, a very disappointing visit.

The zoo is nice. It's small - it took us about two hours, you can stay there more but it's perfect if you just want to have a short visit to the zoo and not a whole day. It's old and the maintenance is poor. It's not very clean. The snack shop is very pricey.
We didn't get to see all the animals, I'm not sure if they are not there or they were just hiding. But it seems to us that there were a lot of empty cages.
There was also a petting zoo, with bunnies and snakes and it was really cool.
Admission is 50 shackles, and you can get online coupons.
Al in all- it was nice two hours on Shabbat morning and it wasn't too crowded.

We only spent about an hour here. The lions had mysteriously disappeared. There were no maps of where everything was. No English signs. Basically not worth the money.

The place looks like it better be closed or rebuilt.
The animals doesn't look good and the zoo in low maintenance.
it's OK for a hour or too to get the kids busy but not to drive few hours specially for this.

This a very comfortable and nice place to visit with family and friends. The place is not too crowded and cheap compared to other zoos in the center of the country.

Nice small zoo in the west of Rishon Lezion city. For a 3-4 houres visit, see the animals and make a little picnic. Small children likes it and some of teens. In the summer (mostly August) it is very hot so you need to bring hats.

This is a low budget zoo. It is in ratty shape but does have some cool exhibits.
Tickets are discounted for Rishon residents, which is nice.
If it is hot out, which it is in the summer, there isn't a lot of shade and there is no air conditioned space or exhibit.
If you really are looking for a great zoo in Israel check out the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem.

It is may not be the biggest and most exciting zoo in Israel, but it's a nice one you can go with kids at all ages for 2-3 hours tour to see animals. They got shows at the holidays and my kids love it, we've been many times

this zoo is very old fashioned. The animals are mostly in small cages, not like the Safari in Ramat Gan. I used to come with my girls when they were young and now I came with my grand daughter and it was like nothing happened in 20 years. it's sad.

This place is quiet small, but include inside some of the dangerous animals!
The animals are treated well, and at the vacations there are some kids shows.
