First the nasty stuff: (1) Unruly patrons. Geez man! The patrons just chuck their trash everywhere! If this continues to be tolerated, there'd be a mountain of trash within 5 years. (2) Kid-unfriendly. Well, you can bring young kids along. BUT expect them to get trampled by rude, uneducated, adult patrons who'll just bulldoze through the trail. Now the good... More

I dont know if the side we been is the beautiful rock formation, but didnt enjoy much the view, We hired our kids horses to ride two kids at one horse for Php150 and if solo Php 100. Thats pretty expensive for a back and forth ride. Its a hot day when we arrive at 12 lunch. You can ask... More

Just a few distances from Bangui Windmills you could already reach the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos. You have to take a long walk before you could reach the main area. The trail is also not that easy as you have to go down steep and walk about hundred meters. Along you will pass a vine tunnel and a trail... More

The beauty of this place was unbelievable. I couldn't believe what my eyes witnessed. This is really something worth visiting. The hike to visit the white formation was worth it. I recommend not to rent a horse going there because the experience will be more fulfilling and there are nice views that you will see if you hike. Just take... More

a very interesting work of art on the side of the sea, where in you can appreciate the sea breeze and the calm mood of the place, really enjoyed hoping to one rock formation up to the other, some areas are not passable.

The Kapurpurawan Rock Formation was formed for almost a thousand years ago forming in this beautiful coast of Burgos fronting the Bangui Bay. The best time to go here is in the morning to get a beautiful glimpse of the "puraw" (white) rock sparkling in the sun. Well, aside from meeting the crowd. It requires a little bit of trek... More

Due to time constraints, we were not able to get to see the rock formation up close. But even so, it looks majestic from afar, I bet it looks even better up close. The rock is a bit far so you'll have to walk or rent a horse. But if you opted to stay, you can always order an empanada.... More

Kapurpurawan Rock Formation is located along Bangui Bay in Burgos. Getting there takes a 15 minute walk along the rocky shore. Fret not, there's a pathway for tourists. One can even horseback to see this natural wonder of white colored rocks sculpted by the wind and waves over time.
