This winery is not a typical place in terms of wine tourism, where you are usually welcomed by a guide telling a standard story learnt by heart. Here the visit is offered free of charge and held by the owner. You will be explained what Trepat grapes' variety is through tasting of Carles Andreu's wines. It is small, it doesn't have any well-built strategy of storytelling or sales plans...therefore authentic and charming. Recommended.

If you had to pick a winery to visit in the Barbera de la Conca region of Spain, (approximately 120 kilometres from Barcelona), it would have to be this one. Operated by a local family, it produces Cava and other fine wines of a high quality, in limited supply yet of most reasonable pricing. Ask for a tour and explanation of the operations - it is fascinating and enlightening. A great experience, especially if you are a wine lover.
