A great place on a hot day. Lots of fun and family orientated. Love all the different water slides and attractions. Lots to see and do. A great place to just relax or with your family and friends and keep cool on Hawkes Bays hot sunny days

Having a birthday, just spending time with the kids, Enjoy the whole day, pack a lunch, take the sunscreen and relax. The place has plenty of hide away spots where you can still see the kids swimming, while resting with one eye open and a favourite book. When your ready, take a ride on the train, play a round of... It was really good, nothing to write home about, but definitely a fun day to be had. Only moan would be the level of chlorine in the water, my skin was incredibly dry (I had to moisturise every couple of hours) for a couple of months.

I absolutely enjoyed Splash Planet! It was a nice hot day for my family when we visited and it was super crowded! The pools were awesome and fun. The slide is the ultimate though. Splash Planet is perfect for children. Also great for adults too! There's lots of activities to do as well. It's definitely a whole day visit.

Miss 8 and I enjoyed the final open day of Splash Planet until November 2016. We went on every water ride at least 3 times. I felt like a big kid, playing mini golf, riding the jeeps; paddling canoes; bumper boats and raceway cars. We arrived at 11 and left at 5pm. Action packed day, recommend to all water babes.

Just loved the endless pool very relaxing and soothing. Love the food shops and extras like rides for the kids a bit pricey but well worth a day or two there. Don't recommend the life guards, my child was in difficulty and the life guard who thought she was on baywatch was too busy flicking her hair to keep a... More
