Situated in the beautiful Queens Gardens and with free admission. The gallery is small with four exhibition spaces one of which houses the Gallery’s own collection. There was an excellent glassware exhibition and nature photography with works for sale by local artists.

This is one of Nelsons gems. The gallery has under gone a mammoth restoration and is now one of New Zealand's top gallery's. No one should miss a visit.
