A lovely short, non difficult walk with dogs to explore one of Slovenias most beautiful waterfalls. Best part is when you can go behind the waterfall.

There is a route upstairs to the bottom of the waterfall, there might be the road to the top but we have not searched for it. The path takes up to 40 minutes to go up and down. It is 100% worth visiting if you...More

Well, this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen in Slovenia. Definitively worth seeing. It takes only 5-10 minutes by car from a small city called Mojstrana which is really near the highway to Ljubljana. There is a parking place near the Peričnik...More

The (lower) waterfall is beautiful, very strong flow and 52m height and well worth the detour when in the area of Bled or Kranjska Gora. Be warned the hike is short but up a height so normal people will breath very heavily before reaching the...More

We visited the waterfall on August 2018. Directions: From Route 201 turn south to Mojstrana, pass the town until you reach road 908 (Triglavska Cesta), before the stream Triglavska Bistrica. The road leaves the town and becomes a dirt road (but passable). Follow the signs...More

You can climb half way up the falls to a ledge that takes you behind the falls. You may get a little damp but not wet and it is good to view the falls from this angle. If you can't manage the climb, you can...More

Beautiful waterfall with a reasonably easy hike up to it for great photo opportunities. You can walk behind the waterfall which was very special. Parking is €2 for three hours, plenty of time to explore the area. Within driving distance from vintgar gorge and lake...More

Yeah, it depends on the amount of the snow. You can drive to the parking place and see if the path is walkable or not. If not, you can enjoy the view from the parking place. However, be very careful if you go up there.
