Nice museum with friendly staff, who speak excellent French. Museum is focused on glass icons. Nice but unless you are an enthusiast you won't need more than 30 minutes here. Worth a small detour.

A very special small museum with an extraordinary and beautiful collection of glass icons from various Romanian districts. The museum also contains an attractive collection of religious books, as well as a collection of local embroidered textiles, ceramics, jewelery made of beads, and household utensils....More

This is probably the largest most precious collection of ancient icons painted on glass in the world, unique.

Two floor of pictures on glass, all religious relics not painted by great artist. But interesting to see if passing. Not much else to see in this very quiet village.

A nice overview of the glass icons from Romania. This special way of icon painting is specific for this country.

If you would like to see hand made painted christian pictures, then this is the place for you. It is said, the collection is the biggest in europe.

This little museum contains icons of a religious nature. What is unusual is that they have been painted on glass and therefore on the reverse side. Some paintings involve gold foil. Altogether rather unusual and worth a visit.

It's very affordable to visit and interesting that all the works were created by memory from local people. Everything was donated to this museum. The museum is located right next to the /pensiunea-Adriana. It gives an appreciation for some of romanias history and culture
