We had a great time a Wings over Whales. We booked the Whales and Scenic together and it was well worth it. As we were in August we got to see a Sperm Whale, we also saw a huge pod of Dusky Dolphins. Then we headed inland over the rugged Seaward Kaikoura Mountains. They were spectacular to see with all... More

Totally amazing experience. From the time we reported for our flight to when we left, the whole trip was amazing. We were greeted by very friendly and efficient ground crew who welcomed us and made us very comfortable. Edward, our Pilot for the flight, took us through the reasons why the marine life was so prolific in Kaikoura, and our... More

Good experience for whale lovers. Good crew and nice pilots, friendly and very polite. It might happen, that yoiu not gona see whales ( Nature is nature) , but the pilot will use maximum of time trying to let it happen. So, i might say - is a good additional opportunity to see Sperm whales form the air. Quite far,... More

We managed to see hundreds of dusky dolphins 3 humpback whales and 2 sperm whales from the air! Definitely worth a trip up north to Kaikoura to watch the whales from the air. We came to this town just for this tour and we are not disappointed. The pilot is experienced, the GA-8 Airvan is very suitable for such trip!

Before this one we had a short interesting overview of the peninsula and of the life in the ocean here. Then we took the plane, a little one for 4 persons... More

Such an amazing flying adventure!!! Cannot speak more highly of this company. Definitely the best viewing seats to see New Zealand's wildlife. Our brilliant pilot flew around so that all 5 passengers on board could see out of their own big window. We all got spectacular views of 3 sperm whales, hundred of dolphins, seals, sea birds and the beautiful... More
