Followed the tour path along the foreshore to the go up the break water to try to see some dolphins and had little luck. Was bitterly cold so make sure you’re nice and warm, other than that pretty fun

Visited on Friday 11th May. We went for a drive around Greymouth and headed out to the breakwater. It was worth going there to get a great view looking back towards the town with the hills in the background.

The sea was quite calm when we went to the breakwater, although it can very dangerous when the seas are rough. Worth going to see the area, either by car or on the walking track.

Great views and walk! Awesome opportunity to talk to kids about tides and tidal effect on a river. We were lucky to get a great day! Our exploring found many things the kids loved
