The falls are just off the main road, there's plenty of parking and it's free! There's viewing platforms both sides of the falls and you can cross the low barrier to get a selfie at the top but obvioulsy take care! We took the circular walk to the base and you can get almost underneath the fall if you're wearing... More

Not too far off the road and easy to get to. Can see the falls well without doing the walk to have a nice view but walk down to the bottom is worth it too.

We say a sign along the road for the falls. We were skeptical as to what it might be, but thought we'd give it a try. What a surprise. It's a nice set of falls and a lovely walkway to the bottom. If you have some time, check it out!

As we are older and had a wheelchair with us we were limited to how far our capabilities would allow us to walk/push the wheelchair. The two viewing platforms we did access had great views of the falls and the lower platform also had views of the picnic area and river leading to the waterfall. The falls are so accessible... More

Well worth the short drive. And take the walk to the lower bridge Lovely waterfall an easy walk, well maintained pathways and a few steps. And there are clean good toilets in the car park.

The walk to the bottom of the falls along the river bank is very restful and picturesque. As there had been a few days of rain the falls were spectacular.

We took a morning walk found it not too difficult to handle, would definately recommend it to most reasonably active people

This was the first of the falls we visited on our journey around North and South island. We stopped the night before after travelling up from rotorua. Saw the sign for the falls and went to see. Really great spot to stop well worth it and free to do
