This is a popular spot. Good toilets and parking...please don't leave your valuables on display... Walking tracks..picnic spots..photographic subjects..tranquil rest spots, bush and birds..you name it. Awesome place for Family/Whanau to spend time in nature new parking lt easy access to toilets access for wheelchair for young and old also connects to A H Reed Waterfall which can be biked as well

If you plan to visit the south island you will see far better waterfalls. You can combine this with the Whangarei lake and Gardens.

Was very nice facilities, however the fall were a little disappointment, although I would think it would be great in full flood. The surrounds are well maintained with good parking.

The waterfall is only a 1 minute walk from the car park which also has toilet facilities. There is a small lookout where you can view the waterfall. You can also do a bush walk around the falls, where you can get an excellent view...More
