This is a great place to visit while in Whangarie, or even passing through. The falls are beautiful, but you need to do the walk to the base for the best view.

Nice short walk to see some great falls. Going down the bottom requires reasonable mobility but these can be seen from the top where there is easy access. Also a great picnic area and toilet stop.

The Whangarei Falls walk is definitely a must activity for solo, family, friends or other travellers. The walk is beautiful and cool since it is under the trees. The waterfalls are also lovely to see.

A nice place to visit for an hour or two or even to stretch the legs. A decent size waterfall to be interesting and unlike many its easy access and short walk from car park. Seem popular spot.

NOt five minutes from the city, this beautiful spot is well worth the short stroll to the bottom, don't forget the camera. Lovely when the flowers are in bloom, even better if there has been a storm and water is pounding over the falls -...More
