The glassworks were open early on a Sunday with artists making absolutely wonderful pieces right in front of us. It was so entertaining and interesting to sit and watch the thousand degrees of heat on the glass was turned into magnificent light shades. Well worth...More

The way they have set up the glassworks, with a gallery where you can sit and watch them at work, makes this a very worthwhile place to visit. There's always someone working with glass, and they happily interactive and explain what they are doing. There's...More

I found this fascinating watching very clever people make some beautiful pieces. The colours are amazing and the items for sale are gorgeous. It is an experience one would love to have a go at.

Walk in off the street and you are immediately in the midst of glass artists hard at their craft - the hot shop is fascinating, the art of glass blowing entrancing and the finished products in the gallery wonderful. Highly recommended.

What an opportunity: NZ Glass Art works on view (and to purchase) and often you can view glass being created before your eyes in the blowing pit before operating glass kilns. A one of a kind gallery!

Loved watching these people at work, making some amazing creations. Would have been great if someone was giving a bit of a commentary about the processes they were going trhough.
