It was just a small place and took me around 15 mins to visit it. The butterfly house is pretty and there were lots of nice butterflies and tropical plants but it was just really overpriced for all that it was, Given how long you can spend there. I don't like to condem attractions but it just wasn't worth the... More

This is a tricky one to review. My camera hated it! They provide a small fan heater which you can use to warm your camera up and get rid of the moisture on the lens. This sort of worked (the lens cleared but the screen didn't which was very frustrating - however, the iPhone had no problems with the humidity... More

I think this would be a lovely attraction for avid butterfly and orchid enthusiasts who would like to take the time to study the plants as well as the butterflies. The butterfly house is small but very pretty. We arrived at about 10am and there were not many butterflies flying around, almost all that were about were of the same... More

I had been looking forward to visiting this attraction for a while and I finally made it. It is a small place but quite enchanting. Very well maintained and has helpful notices dotted around the room to help you determine what you are looking at. You may have to pop out for some cooler air as it is very humid... More

Small place, but beautiful. It was an amazing experience to have a host of butterflies fluttering around me and feeding on various trays of food. This is a tropical hothouse and the temp is a constant 28 degrees C so it is warm.Beautiful plants and a lovely water feature in the middle of the hothouse. Worth $12.

New Zealand needs more of these! The whole set up is perfect, I could've stayed here for hours. Very hot and humid inside so dress accordingly if you want to stay a while!

Although small and pokey, not much to look at from the outside its worth a trip into the little magical garden ~ contained in a very large green house out the back is a tropical wonderland and thousands of butterflies just fluttering and playing amongst the orchids and bromeliads. It is naturally rather hot in there and if I was... More

Unfortunately our only reference is the butterfly enclosure at the Melbourne Zoo which obviously this place can not compete with, but having said that we did enjoy our quick visit here. Good effort by the owners. The blue butterfly's were the highlights!

We wvistied the garden on a bad weather day. We were the only people at this time so we had time to enjoy the silence there. In the first 10min we havn't seen that many butterflies but after a while they came out an set down right next to us. From smallest ones to really huge , everything was there... More
