About
Eagles Heritage is home to one of the largest collection of Eagles, Hawks, Falcons and Owls in Australia. Encounter some of the magnificent resident birds of prey close-up during twice daily flight displays. Learn how the birds use their extraordinary sensory abilities to track and catch prey, and watch their precision in action as they swoop from the treetops to catch their food. The displays feature the rare opportunity to have your photograph taken with a barn owl. In addition to the flight display, your visit to Eagles Heritage includes a self-guided 1km through native forest where you can meet some of our diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey. Eagles Heritage was established in 1987 out of a need to provide homes for permanently disabled birds of prey and owls which had been handed in and cared for by volunteers, but which, due to the nature of their injuries, were unable to make a recovery sufficient for their return to the wild.

This was an interesting decision for us to try out the local wildlife park instead of our usual selections of wineries and breweries. Not what I would normally do but it was a great choice.

What an interesting park with their range of birdlife. At only $20 per person or was worth it,  especially knowing that we had contributed to the welfare of the animals.

They had a range of rescued birds and others that fly unrestricted in the park but call it home.  The man who led the display was informative and knowledgeable. It was great to see the owls and especially the kites flying, grabbing titbits thrown into the air and then catching it in mid flight.

After the display we enjoyed the 1 km walk around the park.  This was an enjoyable change of pace and would recommend it.

I believe in supporting small operations especially when it involves rehabilitation and breeding programmes. We were the only people there as it was midweek. Spent a lovely time looking at the wonderful birds. That was followed by a flying display and photo opportunities. The gentleman doing the display was very knowledgeable and obviously cares very much about the beautiful birds.

As mentioned by others, the flight show involves a barn owl (Ivy this time, don't know if she's the only participant) who will step up on to visitors' arms (with glove) and lots of interesting information about owls and information and feeding of 3 black kites who zoom about and demonstrate their incredible skill at catching food while in mid-flight.
The property is used to rehabilitate and care for wild birds who need the special care they can get there and there is a range of other birds staying/living there These are not birds you'll usually see in captivity, and it's a privilege to get up (relatively) close to such wildlife. I enjoyed my visit.

Had a bad experience at this center. The show was great and all but the lady at the front desk should stop selling breakable items in their shop. Next is she should stop shouting “hey what are you doing?” “Do not those things” to my 2 year old child! She didn’t show any remorse or apology. I managed to say sorry in behalf of my daughter who is by the way a MINOR. I pointed the effect her shouting has on my daughter Two times! my daughter didn’t break anything at their bloody shop. Even if she did I can pay thousands of dollars to replace it if it was that pricey. I went to her after the show telling her how much she upset my daughter. She went on about how my 2 year old should not be touching things! My fish here is a happy girl but seeing her looking at the ground that moment broke my heart. She should be so lucky I cannot give her a mouthful since my other 5 year old daughter was with us that time. Who cares about your items for sale when you can’t even show respect and courtesy to your customers! Stop selling merchandise then . Bloody rude woman!

Eagles Heritage is amazing! Myself and my partner had a great time. Walked around to look at all the different types of birds they have there. Enjoyed the informative show. All the staff are very friendly and full of knowledge. They were very accomodating when I asked to arrange a special experience for my partner. An up close personal interaction. My partner got to hold a beautiful owl, and got to feed a wonderful Black Kite while it flew and landed on his arm. This experience was 10/10. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s definitely worth the extra cost to do this. Please go and support this family run business. They deserve it!

This is a place to come and see the astounding skills of some of our birds of prey. We saw the Black Kites today and it was breathtakingly amazing. Phillip is passionate about these birds and about educating the wider community. Some of the cage displays were a little run down but that was more than made up for in the flight display. Go and enjoy.

Nice park, seemed understaffed however the two people we did see were very friendly.

The man in particular highly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his birds.
Definitely worth seeing the flight display.

All money goes straight into the birds and there rehab and breeding programs.

Special shout out to Ivy the Barn Owl.

Informative and enjoyable, the owl talk and flight demonstration were particularly good. Gave me the chance to have an owl on my hand (gloved of course!). Do go as your support funds the care of these beautiful birds.

This place a little rustic but passion of the operators on display throughout. Some of the displays/signs a bit dated but i think that is because the care/money is spent on looking after the birds. Our two year old loved running around but the owner had warned us of snakes on the property so we were a little more nervous.
