Within easy walking distance of the northern end of the foreshore, the Platform Markets are a great spot to go on Sunday morning. Local vendors selling all sorts of things. I like the local olives and olive oil, Stephany's hand painted souvenirs, the food vans, Bookara goat cheese, Janene's cards and Jo's fabulous jams and sauces. Each Sunday is different. No special parking for bikes, but plenty for cars. A recommended visit.…

Fantastic selection of stalls & items for sale. As well as local arts & crafts there was also a good selection of fruit, veg, eggs, preserves. Unfortunately a lot of the fruit & veg was wrapped in plastic which prevented us from buying it. Was great to see a few health stalls too, including fresh chai & turmeric lattes. There were also lots of plants & seedlings. I loved the shops that were a permanent fixture & if I was a local, I would jump at the chance to have a sound healing. Ample parking & great location. …

With most shops closed on a Sunday the Markets were the ideal place to spend some time in Geraldton. A good variety of stalls and food trailers. Items were a bit more expensive here than Perth market prices but still an enjoyable time.

I happened to time my visit to Geraldton right, and was here on a Sunday, so popped along to the Platform Markets. There's plenty of parking and the markers are free to browse, and there's a huge variety of stalls and goodies to choose from. There's fresh fruit and vegies, books, candles, tea towels and linen, plant and herbs for your garden, cupcakes, niknaks and a variety of many other items. Highly recommended in Geraldton.…

A hum of activity from early in the morning. A very interesting and varied collection of market stalls can be found here . From locally created hand made crafted jewellery and soft material items to home made cakes and confectionary ,to home cooked finger food ,to local cheeses, bread and delicious Olive oils . Fresh and well presented locally grown vegetables and vege and flower seedlings from local nurseries are my favourite buy. You could find just about everything including books and treasured glass and fine China ornaments. What a nice way to spend a morning and meet up with friends at the little pop up coffee / snack cafes. The Heritage Railway Station in the town centre is used to house this popular Sunday Market . It is sheltered and there is lots of room to park . Perhaps some day in the near future there will be an area of green for children to play and families to sit --on their own chairs ,under shady trees beside the market car park. …
