The PS Melbourne is a true steam driven paddle steamer, unlike the other paddle vessels on offer here. So if you're looking for that authentic trip down memory lane, this is the one to do. Such a relaxing cruise through Lock 11, to the weir,...More

We enjoyed this trip even more than expected. There is something wonderful about chugging down the river under steam and it gives you a feeling for the history of the area. At the moment P.S. Melbourne runs from Sunday to Thursday, so choose these days...More

A relaxing and informative paddle steamer tour of a section of the Murray River, which included a trip through Lock 11. Instead of just viewing the Murray from a bridge as you pass over it, you should take a paddle steamer trip. This one allows...More

We had a lovely cruise up the Murray. Very interesting going through Lock 11. Captain gave a very interesting talk along the way. Beautiful parklands around the wharf to have a picnic before or after the trip.

We were looking forward to our afternoon river cruise. We decided that as it had been raining over night we would see how the weather improved during the morning and pay for our cruise on the boat in the afternoon. The website suggested 3 options...More

Staff have no pr at all. Commentary didn't excite anyone. Luckily locals on board spoke to overseas people about the unique happenings on the river over the years. Where are the visitor information people ..they should be selling this fantastic City?

Hi, We had the same question when we were there, essentially though you just need to pick which cruise i.e. morning or afternoon and turn up a bit early as they do leave pretty much on time. There was plenty of parking and... More
