Great way to tick off a few things on the list in Lakes Entrance. The boat ride through the beautiful lakes system, and then lunch and wine at the winery, was a lovely way to see the sights. The sun was shining too- it couldn't have been better weather! Great, friendly service from the skipper and the winery hosts too.

We took the longest cruise throughout the lake system back to Paynesville and its canals, and right up to the Entrance. Thoroughly enjoyable trip, with just the right amount of commentary that lets you relax and enjoy the scenery.

We took a lovely cruise up the North Arm to Wyanga Park Winery for lunch while we were on an escape in Lakes Entrance. It was a pleasant cruise with a great skipper who shared her vast knowledge of the lakes System and the history of the area. A highlight was seeing the Sea Eagles searching for food as we... More

Something special! For $55 pp we enjoyed a river cruise, wine tasting and lunch at Wyanga Park Winery! The 40 minute cruise each way was relaxing and informative with the chance of seeing dolphins, seals and seabirds along the way. We went mid week in June so the numbers were small, however I would imagine the cruise/lunch deal would be... More

With the addition of the "Seabird" cruises are now available on three different boats. The Seabird is a catamaran and a very comfortable boat for cruising down to the Metung Hotel for lunch or for a private charter. It has small viewing deck on one side of the bow and a large open deck right across the stern. Inside is... More

On a beautiful, sunny day during our three day stay at Lakes Entrance, we took a wonderful ferry boat cruise on the Thunderbird run by Peels Cruises. It was a quieter time of the year and week and we were able to move about the boat and join the Captain on the bridge at various times. Here we were able... More

Trying to fit in as much as we could in a 3-day stay in Lakes Entrance, we fortunately stumbled on the Peel's Stormbird Cruise to Wyanga Winery Lunch cruise on the only day it was to operate during our stay. Operating only Wednesday and Saturday, this cruise takes you on a 45 minute cruise along the North Arm, arriving at... More

Took this river & lake cruise and was stunned by the size of the waterways just awesome. The cruise was about 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon and not that expensive. $40 seniors each. The commentary was very informative but not too much. Nice large boat with plenty of seating inside and out.

We did the lunch cruise to Metung, the staff were not really friendly they just did what they had to. Lunch was really good at the hotel the staff there were excellent . The time between being dropped off at Metung and being picked up 2 hours later is far too long nothing to see and do after your meal.... More

Great ferry. Inside and outside seating upstairs and downstairs. Excellent snack bar. Awesome views. Great commentary by friendly driver. We did the 2.5 hour thunderbird cruise. Our kids were bored at times due to length of cruise but did enjoy it.
