About
Segway Geelong offers you 2 different tour locations. At Leura Park Estate Vineyard we offer Segway Only tours Daily at 10:30 to 12. Our Segway and Dine Package is offered as well from Thursday through to Sunday at 10:30 - 12.followed by lunch. Your Leura Park packages includes 90 minutes of training and cruising around the estate on your own Segway (provided). If you do the Segway and Dine package you then sit down to a beautiful lunch with a glass of wine included, free wine tasting and 10% reduction on the price of any purchased, packaged wine. We also offer packages at the breathtaking Geelong Waterfront. These tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 2:30pm and 4:30pm and go for 1 hour. Bookings are essential for our tours.

5 adults, one family, varied abilities. This was SO much fun! The instruction was simple and quick. Individual attention and away we go. A really good way to tour a vineyard. Lunch after was delicious and plentiful. Such a great and novel way to spend a morning. Highly recommended.

Wow. What a day. Tim and his gorgeous wife made us all feel so comfortable before we set off on our adventure through the vineyard at Leura Park. Never felt out of control, just awesome fun. MUST DO.

We enjoyed a wonderful morning cruising along the Waterfront in Geelong and up the hill to the contrasting terrain of the Eastern Park/ Geelong Botanical Gardens. Tim was the perfect host, patiently and carefully teaching my daughter and I how to use the Segway safely before we set off. As we ventured into Eastern Park, Tim adjusted our Segways to a faster setting and then proceeded to guide us through the more rugged terrain of the Eastern Park. Tim encouraged us to extend our comfort zone by venturing 'off road' onto the grassed areas where we swerved in and out of a natural obstacle course made up of trees (safely of course). Tim's Segways are brand new and are in excellent condition. Tim was friendly, patient, easy going and we hope to be back soon. Thanks for a wonderful morning, Tim.

We did the Segway tour in Geelong on the 8th of September 2018 and man was it fun. A little scary at first but the instructor was very good. We rode around on paths, crossed roads and ended up having a hoon around in the park. It was a really fun session and at a cost of $50 for a hour ride, you most definately cannot go wrong! A great activity for the whole family. Had a ball! Will be back.

We had done a few Segway tours over the years at various places around the world but always in a city environments on paved roads and sidewalks, a wonderful way to see a lot in a short period. But Segway Geelong is a different experience altogether! Firstly, the Segway machines are the off road variety called the X2, and secondly the tour is around the beautiful undulating vineyards of Leura Park Estate on the Bellarine Peninsular an hour south of Melbourne. On arrival we received a very warm and friendly greeting from Tim, the owner of Segway Geelong. We were early so we chatted about our various travel experiences while we awaited for the other party to arrive. Tim made us feel very welcome, it was like we were catching up with an old friend. Tim introduced us to the Segways, showed us a safety video, we did the paperwork, then he gave us a comprehensive lesson. Three of the six participants had never ridden a Segway before. Tim was very patient, made them feel comfortable and in a short while they were competently operating this wonderful 21st century recreational device. Then we were off around the beautiful Leura Estate, navigating through the vineyards and zooming by resident lamas. At first all the Segways were put in 'tortoise' mode so we got comfortable with how the Segway responds, then later after everyone was comfortable Tim turned off the tortoise mode and we could go a little faster. Every so often Tim would stop and talk about the various grape varieties etc which was very interesting too. I never felt unsafe on the Segway at all. The tour went for about 90 minutes finishing back at the lovely Leura Estate restaurant where you have the option to stay for lunch and do some wine tasting. We did not stay on this occasion but the fare on offer looked and smelled wonderful, and the restaurant's setting was very tastefully done! So if you are heading down to the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne and interested in a little bit of adventure, lots of fun coupled with beautiful scenery, food and wine, you might consider stopping of at Segway Geelong and Leura Park Estate for a few hours. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday, I get the feeling we will be making a return visit, but next time we will take in the lunch option!!

I really had fun on our tour and loved the way you and your family were so friendly and really engaged in all of the activities that were offered particularly how they all went for it in the "playground"! What a fun, relaxing and chilled out way to spend a weekend. Felt a bit nervous at first but after a few minutes I was full of confidence. Segwaying through the beautiful vineyards and knowing that I would be rewarded at the end with a well earned glass of local produced wine, great tasting platter and pizza made it even more special. Thanks Tim and Joy for an enjoyable afternoon we will definitely come back with friends P.S. I think I did better than my husband
