Yes, definitely not operating any more, though there is still a helicopter doing joy flights from the Geelong waterfront.

I believe the seaplanes are not operating at the moment. I work in the water front area and have not seen the seaplane since before christmas 2013. But the helicopter ride which operates at near the royal Geelong yacht club is still operating on most weekends and holidays when weather is good, so contact them before your planing to try it. I know at the moment it starts at $45 for a 5 minute flight round the bay.

Went on the plane last month, a sea plane trip was on my bucket list, it was great, the pilot was very friendly and informative, had a great view of the beaches and the "Cats" stadium, I highly recomend it.

We took the train from Melbourne to Geelong for the day. Great trip! As we walked towards the pier we were approached to do a joy flight on a seaplane. We declined at first then as we walked back we decided to have an 'extreme' adventure! It was also good value for money. The pilot was great, he gave us the thrill of our lives!!!! 2 of us are over 60 & 1 over 40, thanks Greg!!
