A fantastic afternoon walking through the museum and getting to know some history. Staff were fantastic and the kids got information booklets with 'things' to find/answer which they loved walking around to find. (If you have young children be mindful to keep an eye on them as there is a lot of do not touch items. My kids are 9... More

We were very lucky as there were some Chinese visitors who spoke to us about the culture and also how it has changed. It was... More

I enjoyed the museum. The pamphlets were informative. Also the museum itself was fascinating. I loved looking at the traditional clothing, the dragons and the history of the Chinese people in Bendigo...

We loved this museum. So much to see and take in and really well set out. The museum and gardens were full of history and tales of the past as well as dragons and information about the Chinese influences in Bendigo today. An easy couple of hours was spent here, and the team were friendly and helpful.

The garden with the water and fish - was mesmerizing - could spend a whole day in there reflecting. The temple was beautiful, such a blessing to be able to step inside and soak up the energy... Extremely interesting and informative exhibition and a great insight into chinese culture in Bendigo early gold mining. A great selection of very early photos and very well set up exhibits of Chinese life at the time.
