A very interesting linear park that follows the course of the Bendigo Creek. This waterway is the closest thing that Bendigo has for a river. However the park encompasses the creek and a path follows it towards the Conservatory which is always worth a visit. The park has a playground as well as a leafy fern gully. A walk up... More

Very pleasant to wander around this well-kept, attractive park. Everything looked clean and lovely after a shower of rain and it really enhanced the photos. Lots of pretty, colourful parrots in the trees, as were lots of other winged creatures... bats! Considering this park is right in the city, it was very quiet and peaceful and a real treasure for... What a bit of fun the Craft Bombing was in the glasshouse. 'Grandma's crochet to the best'. Many gaily coloured umbrellas covered in crochet suspended from the ceiling and a beach umbrella and seat all crochet bombed-made me smile-reminded me of my mother's ghastly afghan rugs and hideous creations that I was given when I first got married. The crocheted... More

I spent some time walking through this park and enjoying the quiet and the statues along the way, even got to see the Marilyn Monroe statue before it was taken down, loved it.

How beautiful I'd this park right in the centre of a city? To stroll through and enjoy nature , or to sit with a coffee and relax is very enjoyable...the council maintain it beautifully..

A well maintained park just off the main street. You can climb a look out tower modelled after a gold mine but the biggest surprise is the 100's of flying foxes (fruit bats) that have taken up residence in the northern part of the park (Just head for the area with all the palm trees and look up!)

Very relaxing and full of trees and greenery. Take a relaxing stroll through the Gardens or site and have a little picnic. Plenty of Bats around at Dusk.

There is one thing Victoria excels at is public parks. this park is a great spot to take a break for the hustle of Bendigo city and have a picnic. There are plenty of paths to walk along and a fernery to visit. Its close to the Bendigo Art Gallery and one end there is the Chines gardens.

The park is large and well laid out - with a very pretty fernery and an impressive hill if you fancy the exercise! it's worth it for the view at the top. on the Pall Mall side there's a small conservatory which is wirth checking out.

The park itself is nice to walk through, there is also lots of possoms that live in the trees and the park is also home to lots of fruit bats which can be really cool to hear and see fly around. Only problems i can see with it was the creek besides it smells really bad and on the other... More
