This a great place to visit. The playground is excellent for kids. Great for a picnic in the park or grab something to eat from the Boardwalk Cafe or Mick's Fish & Chips.

Nice lake just outside the CBD, we stayed at the play ground with the kids for over an hour, it was just perfect & peaceful for a sunny winter day!

From the Lake you can follow the Bendigo Creek walk to the White Hills Botanic Gardens and return [ 8 kms ] Lots of water birds spotted around the lake. A relaxing coffee at the cafe ended a lovely day.
