We arrived in Bendigo on a glorious, sunny Autumn day, with plans to take in their annual Easter Festival. (Which was amazing, especially all the Chinese Dragons!). We toured the Cathedral first, and couldn't believe the light-drenched interior. It was pure gold and simply brilliant...More

Very spiritual place, large cathedral, place of worship. On par with Cathedrals in the UK, would love to hear the organ and choir. Photos allowed, great stained glass window.

Large cathedral with a very light interior. Pleasant to visit to see the architecture, though nothing particularly noteworthy inside.

This is a very large Catholic Cathedral in Bendigo. Worth a visit even if you are not religious. Stained glass is wonderful.

As the largest cathedral in Victoria outside Melbourne, Scared Heart is imposing as it sits on top of the hill with views of the surrounds. The inside, while not as lavishly decorated as some European Cathedrals, is stunning and definitely worth a visit.

I think so. There are about 4 services spread across Sunday from memory. But it was very welcoming when we went through the week.
