Very friendly volunteers. Just hop off and on when you like. A really nice day. Had lunch by the lake and tram stop right by restaurant.

Loved our trip on the Bendigo Talking Tram today. Our host James was friendly and knowledgeable, which made our tour even more. I had no idea the history of Bendigo was so diverse. I’m not a history buff, but I found it very interesting and easy to understand. Great for everyone.

Thanks for the five star review Laurel. Great tip, a Vintage Talking Tram tour is a wonderful way to get your bearings and find out a little more about the City when you first arrive in town. We'll pass your kind words on to James.

With only 24 hours in Bendigo and having never visited before this was a great way to see Bendigo. We started at Central Deborah mine and went on a round trip. The only stop was about 10 mins at the tram depot which had a number is different trams to look at and pretend to drive! Unfortunately as it was later in the afternoon we didn’t have time for other stops but if you start in the morning it’s a great way to get on and off and explore many Bendigo places of interest. The conductor was friendly and provided other information and the talking tram added interesting Bendigo information. Definitely recommend to visitors to Bendigo.

We bumped into this place by accident as we were roaming the streets of Bendigo and we actually got lost :) The place is off the road actually in what seems to be a dead en street. We actually saw it cause it was inconspicuously red as per the trains and old trams which are disclosed and exhibited here. We spend here about an hour as we took in the information given about each and every train wagon and the history behind. In a nutshell, this place is a museum and apparently they have some outside trips (but we did not see anything of the kind and neither took anything like it). At the end of the museum tour, we went back to the entrance which functions as the place where they sell the tickets/indoor museum too and coffee shop also selling souvenirs allegoric to the place and post cards, etc, etc. I do recommend this place as a must for its history and the information given which makes you understand a bit about the past of transportation in this city. As usual we recommend you to enjoy our profile and we always encourage our readers to please keep reading and liking our very interesting and in depth reviews on everything: Attractions, Hotels, Restaurants, Museums, Airports and basically anything that is of interest and has a public service. Stay tuned.
