Sit back, relax and let your tram do all of the talking. Be delighted by the remarkable sights and sounds of Bendigo as your tram shares entertaining stories about the golden past of the city founded on one of the world's richest goldfields. This hop-on, hop-off tour stops throughout the city allowing you to explore many of the parks, attractions, shopping and dining facilities that Bendigo has to offer. Hop off at Tram Stop No. 3 to explore Australia's oldest operating Tram Depot. You will discover the colourful history of our iconic tram fleet and see first-hand the craftsmanship and techniques that are involved in restoring each tram to its former glory. Your Vintage Talking Tram ticket also includes the Anzac Centenary Tram (which tells the story of Bendigo as it was during World War One) or the Dja Dja Wurrung Tram (which shares the traditions of Bendigo's first people).

I Travelled up from Melbourne by train for the day. I was time poor, so just did the round trip on the tram as opposed to hop on, hop off. Lovely going on an old tram and the commentary very good. The driver and conductor...More

With the trams wearing woolen decorations they are very colourful at the moment. It is a great way to see the city and visit some of the far flung sites.

The ride itself was pleasant, but I was a little disappointed by the tram tour as the focus was more on showing tram riders different tourist attractions, rather than being mainly about the trams. Trams were available for inspection at the depot, but without a...More
