The night we went was freezing cold, so needless to say it was mostly outside, and when inside, there was no heat, so we froze. They did a good job on explaining the term of Blood on the Southern Cross, but we were very disappointed that there was no live action, which would have made it a lot more interesting.... More

We did the light and sound show package that included the meal 45minutes before the show. They did a good job feeding the people on mass and the food was not cold and pretty good. The show starts at 8:45pm and finished around 10pm. Luck had it the weather was warm and pleasant. I am not sure it would be... More

We went to see this night time show and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is well worth seeing. It's very educational and we learnt a lot about the history of the chinese. It's a must do while in Ballarat.

We expected a show with real performers but was really disappointed it is really just light & sound, no people. The lighting & sound effects were fascinating but it would be much better if there was some live performances. Highlight was the ride which was unexpected.

This is a show not to be missed. It tells the story of the Eureka Stockade through sound and light, in an interesting way which even the younger kids enjoy and understand. It's an important part of Australia's history and I reckon everyone should see it at least once (I've seen it 4 times and will go back).

This historical retelling of the Eureka Stockade was done purely with light and sounds, no actors involved. It was brilliantly done and well worth the time and money.

We bought a 2 day pass, absolutely loved Sovereign Hill, managed all the events throughout the day. We were really looking forward to the sound and light show. It didn't get off to a good start when it was 45 minutes late starting due to one of the "vehicles" breaking down. While the staff kept saying this, it meant nothing... More

We took our two young children to the show after a full day at the Park. This is a sound and light show, there are no actors or theatre entertainment, it is purely based around, effects, sound and lights. Bearing that in mind, it was amazing and so cleverly designed and presented. It was a very cold and windy night,... More
