This memorial is long over due. It acknowledges the contribution the Chinese people have made to Australian society. It is also apt that where it is located is where one of the Chinese Camps were. Nine Thousand people lived in and around this particular spot,...More

love this monument to the influence chinese people had on ballarat. It shows the experiences of the chinese community who first came to ballarat during the gold rush. the monument is located where the chinese camps where situated during gold rush
