Despite arriving in the first wave of the pandemic the staff here were very helpful. I always go to the visitor centre to orientate myself and then ask them to make my bookings for me - a one stop shop. Here the staff were knowlegable and helpful.

Conveniently located in the city centre in the historical clock tower/post office building this is a bright and modern centre with helpful staff and plenty of brochures to choose from. Big thanks to Shelley for her excellent help with directions to one of the local wineries on the city outskirts. If you're driving you will need to find an on street parking space and walk back to the info centre being a space within another building right in the CBD it's not sitting in it's own car park. Only negative (and it's not much of a negative) was there weren't many souvenirs to choose from. What they had was nice and included some local produce etc but I do love to be able to collect the more tacky souvenirs like spoons, shotglasses and magnets which they didn't really have much of.

It was very close to the hotel where I was staying. I went to the visitor information centre to pick up a map of the city of Launceston and its surrounding areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Visitor Centre was very helpful. I visited the centre twice and I received all the answers to my questions and more. They helped a lot with the weather forecasts and national park passes.
