Informative tour and it will make you want to switch to drinking Boags! I have previously toured Guinness in Dublin and XXXX in Brisbane and this was far more informative and enjoyable, with a mix of history and the science of brewing.

No surprise but we couldn't take our 3 & 4 yo on the tour. We were able to look at the museum which was good. Can sample the beers and stretch the legs

Sampled Three beers and three cheeses to match. Museum upstairs. Cafe serves a good selection of food and drinks that are non alcoholic. Staff discussed which cheese goes with each of the beer selections. A nice place to spend the afternoon. Might do the factory tour another day.

Did this tour on a recent visit to Tasmania and found it interesting. Because it was a weekend the plant wasn't operating which was disappointing. The guide was excellent and very good at answering the multitude of questions which were fired at him. The beer tasting was a lot of fun with some excellent cheeses to match the different beers.... We found ourselves in Launceston on a cold and wet Wednesday - so glad we decided to do the tour. Matt was fantastic as our guide, very knowledgeable for some one so young. Interesting to see and hear the history of the brewery which is such an integral part of the history of the city. Must say I even enjoyed... More

Matt the guide was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. The tour flowed smoothly through the brewery. As it was a Saturday it was quiet and you didn't get to see the bottling in action. The tasting was great. I'm not a beer drinker but I enjoyed the crisp clear premium lager. We were on the last tour of... More
