A great place to do the weekly shop
Apr 2021 • Couples
An abundance of cheeses, cured meats, ciders & mead, vegetables and fresh vegetables are available at very reasonable prices.

Many different international foods are also freshly prepared to you to enjoy.

A great place to get amazing local produce
Dec 2020
A great market with wonderful local produce. The market is medium-sized, and you could go over all the stores in an hour or so. A nice place to get some fresh fruits and veges, and breakfast as well:)

Truly lovely jams, chutneys, pickles and sauces.

We were in a bit of a rush because we had all (the 8 of us) been to the Gorge for the morning and just managed to call into the Farmers Market in time to buy a few jars from the 'Taste of Tam O'Shanter' stall before the market closed promptly at 12 midday.
We bought some jam, tomato chutney and some pickled cucumbers. We have tried them all and they are delicious.
I would be happy and confident to recommend this produce to everyone.

What a gorgeously cute market to pick up artisanal foods and grab an amazing bite to eat. Fresh fruit n veg, all manner of meats n cheeses, craft brewers, oils, teas, seafood. All in one easily accessible area.

Bountiful Harvest Market
Feb 2020
Wow! What a wonderful experience to peruse the produce at the Harvest Market in Launceston on a Saturday morning.
Not too big, not too small, this market gave visitors and taste of what northern Tasmania has to offer in fresh and unique fruit and veg as well as a range of artisan products like no other. Make sure to take a string bag and load up. Made me wish I could shop there every week! Lucky Laucestrians :-)

Good Saturday market in Launceston
Feb 2020
If in Launceston on a Saturday morning, Harvest Market is a must! All strictly local produce. Go early if you want fresh fish as the seafood stall sells out quickly.

good place to try the food, but not worth staying for long
Jan 2020
nice to visit and have a late breakfast of oysters and other local fare. not too busy but also not that many interesting stalls. worth a short visit in the morning if you want breakfast. nearby parking is not easy unless you know the area and there's limited seating to eat any food you buy! we loved the fresh and sweet oysters

Nice market for local produce, delicious breads, meats, veggies, the usual stuff of farmers markets. When in Launceston we always go there to get sausages from the the mt gnomon stall.
