An excellent range of indigenous art in differing styles, prices, and media, from beautiful and expensive to souvenirs (coffee cup to tea towels). Friendly and helpful staff, and a small rang of unusual books for sale. Also the free library operates here. Well worth a visit, we had two visits while in Glenelg.

I first visited in April 2019 and instantly fell in love with this store - it is simply an Aladdins cave of artwork treasures - so much high-quality local and national indigenous paintings, jewellery, gorgeous skincare, books, homewares and so many other stunning treasures - the place is home to the purity of love as only craftsmanship and TLC will bring -- and supports so many local artists who contribute. Run by Rowena Brown, this store is a treasure house promoting the Arts in so many ways - through exhibitions, local shows, and simply, the respect and beauty showcased throughout the store. Just go - you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the store also accepts Dagcoin!

I often spend time. in Glenelg Artists Gallery. I have met many of the Artists of who the gallery represents during Exhibitions. It is inspiring to hear the care of which, each artefact is represented with passionate knowledge. The location is perfect. Food & Beverages are available in many locations. The Beach, The Jetty. Glenelg has it all. Glad to visit. Anytime.

I bought a pair of unique earrings made by an artist from Iwantja Arts which I will treasure. The staff person was very helpful and there was a great range of useful and decorative arts and crafts.

We called in here looking for a nice piece of local art. Maybe our timing was a bit out as there had been an exhibition and consequently half of the space was blocked off. We did see some interesting Aboriginal work - and some local pieces - but neither very well displayed. Given the space, perhaps it would be best to stick to one thing and do it well.

Hello and thank you for your comments - we are a group of around 180 artists who are involved in many things - we are sorry that your visit wasn't as expected . . as a "working" gallery who supplies many other venues and events, every day is different. You will often for example find Aboriginal Artists painting here, but not every day. Perhaps, if you call again, you will see yet another event in action. Happy travels and warm regards, Glenelg Artists.
