We visited here when we first arrived and the two ladies working there were very pleasant and most informative. There is a museum upstairs which proved to be very interesting.

This is an interesting museum about the local area. It is within the Glenelg Visitor Centre, a beautiful old building. It is not a large museum, but is very well done, and is interesting. Worth a visit

Thoroughly recommend this center, most enjoyable for all ages. Our 9 year old related to many of the exhibits. My age group remembered all the early Glenelg, trams etc. Would recommend all to put aside a few hours to explore this interesting place.

On the final days of our SA Holiday and visited Glenelg's Bay Discovery Centre certainly some excellent displays of how it was. Certainly worth a visit and caters for all ages and it's right beside the beach easy to find.

So close to all the shops and the just before the pier and beach. Very interesting place and has history. Even older children should enjoy, certainly worth a visit.

Make time to look around and visit more than once. The volunteers are so helpful and full of knowledge - and the centre is full of interest showing life in a time gone by - you will be enthralled by it all

We stumbled across this, but were very impressed. Lots of local history and information and very well presented - excellent for kids on a wet day

I visited while travelling to Melbourne. The discovery centre has a lot of cool history information and historical videos. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
