Temptation is a 58 foot sailing catamaran which has been doing wild dolphin swims daily since 2001, in this time we have never been out on a dolphin cruise and not seen dolphins. In fact we will give you all your money back if dolphins are not seen on this cruise. Dolphins always come over to Temptation and you can stand or lay above them on our front nets. If you wish to swim, no worries (but book early to avoid disappointment) this is a totally wild experience, no feeding, no touching just viewing from within the water. Because these are wild dolphins we have strict rules to abide by (both for the safety of the swimmers and the dolphins) and sometimes it can be rushed to get the swimmers in the water and sometimes the crew do need to yell so that the swimmers know which way to look under water. If you book in for a swim and on the day change your mind, no problems we can refund the difference (direct bookings only), especially for young children who decide they don't want to swim, that way they don't need to feel forced to go into the water. Remember you will always see more dolphins from on board, but seeing wild dolphins underwater is just amazing.

Attention to detail and your personal comfort are the priority for these guys! You'll likely come across a pod or two of dolphins whilst in the bay, no need to rush as they'll do all the work for you. Ideally take a sunset cruise, however on a hot day slip, slip and slap, grab a hat and towel and lay... More

Pros: Saw lots of dolphins when sat on the boat, and the younger crew member taking photos was friendly, helpful and informative.... Cons: The captain spent the trip barking orders, and generally being rude to me and my family. When in the water (it cant be called swimming) No dolphins could be seen, because A) Visibility in the water is... More

The trip was booked online. With in minutes of setting off we were told to get in as there were dolphins close to us sadly the water and conditions were not kind. Choppy conditions made it very difficult and the were fantastic when I got into trouble in the water. Thanks

Very enjoyable trip, saw dolphins and seals. The weather was overcast and cold so dolphins were harder to find but still got in the water and enjoyed the experience

This experience was amazing!!! When we first left the pier the water conditions weren't very clear which was disappointing because we didn't have to sail very far before we came across the first pod of dolphins. Even though u couldn't see them under the water, they could be seen not too far away in the distance about water. We didn't... More

Crew were excellent - difficult weather conditions for dolphin spotting so swimming opportunities were limited and didn't actually see any whilst swimming - but they stayed out for an extra 45 minutes until at least a pod were around the boat so limited the disappointment.

We had a great time. Was nervous as I felt like shark bait being towed along in SA waters. But they say they have seen hardly great whites in the entire time the tours have operated and nouns been eaten yet! Plus the have anti-shark electro things. These repel the sharks as it causes their muscles to spasm; or something... More

Fab day out in the boat. Seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat was the best feeling ever. Especially when they came to swim alongside you. Staff very friendly. Awesome 🐬
