We visited the plant sale at the front of the church - Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. The flowers were very reasonably priced and the volunteers selling them were very friendly and helpful.

Visited during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. The array of stalls, with a great variety of goods for sale, was most impressive. The architecture inherent in this magnificent Cathedral structure is quite breathtaking. Most worthy of a visit.

We attended a mid week service to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary as they were married here. The minister was very welcoming, as were the people present. It can be dark inside, as is common for this style of building, so photographs can be a bit tricky.

This is a beautiful stone church built in the late 19th century. The organ, installed in 1907, is fully operational and played often. The best features of the church, in my opinion, are the stained glass windows. There would be more than 2 dozen windows. The Eastern window is a copy of a window in Chartres Cathedral in France. The Western window is more contemporary and very lovely. The baptistry is decorated with tapestry panels depicting creation. Situated in the very heart of the city, the church is open for extended hours allowing visitors to slip into its cool, quiet interior and enjoy its beauty. A wander in the gardens is worthwhile with benches placed to allow shaded time in contemplation. I recommend this as a 'must-see' on any trip to Toowoomba.

St. Luke’s is a beautiful old stone church located in the middle of Toowoomba city. Stained glass windows are magnificent. Volunteers present were busy decorating the church with flowers for the annual Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. Plenty of paid parking available on side streets. Definitely worth visiting to admire the beautiful architecture.

Such a treasure to the city of Toowoomba to enjoy the architecture of this wonderful building. The church opens its doors and celebrates with the community and on this occasion remembering the significance of November 11 at 11am with a tribute of poppies throughout the church. The commitment of the church volunteers is always tinged with duty and friendship. What a blessing to enjoy.

A hub of activity on the days I visited. The interior of the beautiful building was adorned with absolutely magnificent floral arrangements. Members of the congregation had many items of craft, food and teas and coffees on offer. I also attended Sunday worship there, and having 4 baptisms during the festival seemed an appropriate event.
